How does Battleping lower ping for gamers?

Battleping creates a tunnel connection between your computer and the game server through the Battleping server you choose in the  BP program. We test all our routings to ensure they provide less packet-loss, reduced routing issues resulting in faster connections and improved in-game response.

You, the gamer will enjoy a more enjoyable and rewarding game experience.

What is the cost of our lower ping service?

I am on the free trial. How do I pay for your premiun service?

Each time you open Battleping you will see two buttons to select - Trial or Member. If you wish to pay for our lower ping service select Member and then click the Create New Account link.

You will then land up at your registration page. On submitting the form you will be directed to your member page where you can use the BuyNow button to make payment through (either PayPal account or Credit Card) or use OffGamers, MOL, SEA Gamer and RPG Store  to buy a time keycode you can paste into your members area on the website.

Will this reduce ping for everyone?

No it won't.

If your connection is already stable and has an optimal route to the Game servers you are playing on there is not much we can do to improve the connection, which is why you should use our free trial before purchasing any time.

What connections will see best results?

We can help reduce ping time and help to reduce ping spikes, freezes or disconnects for users who have sub-optimal routing, routing problems or peering issues. It may also help users who are been shaped on specific game traffic or ports.

What sort of problems won't it help?

It won't help some issues which are out of our control. For example, a line problem occuring between your house and your ISP or local exchange.

Which type of connections may have problems?

Dial-up or Satellite connections may work slowly.
Users who are connecting from restricted networks, such as Uni/School/Hotel or work connections depending on the restrictions that the network has in place.

What Battleping servers are best for me?

For most users: Using a Battleping server that is located close to the Game-server you are playing on will give you the best results.

However some users may find that using a server which is located between them and the Game server can be better. This depends on your current routing and is something you would have to test for yourself. Remember also to check our helpful forum for answers.

As an example: A player living in Australia may connect to a West-Coast server when playing World of Tanks which is physically hosted on the East-Coast.
